SMART Training

What is smart training? Measured training is the most productive and fun way to improve your health and fitness. Let's break down the S.M.A.R.T. system:-


S - Specific Goals ie. an event, weight loss by a certain date, looking good for a wedding and so on.

M - Measured. Measure and test everything, know where you are at and where you are going.

A - Achievable. You can't run a marathon in 2 months if you do no running now. To see what's achievable its a good idea to do a Fitness Assessment.

R - Realistic. It must be within your reach.

T - Time based. Let's give it a timeline, a goal to work towards.


The SMART system is so important because people often want to "get fit" but don't know how or where to start.
